Our customer needed to
implement the SAP ECC system
across Latin America based on a
corporate template, with the goal of
improving operational efficiency and
integrating business processes at a
regional level. The challenge was to
unify operations across multiple
countries while respecting local
requirements and ensuring a
consistent, scalable management
model aligned with the company’s
global standards.

The Solution

TGV supported Phillip Morris
International in the regional
implementation of SAP R/3,
covering the entire project lifecycle.
The solution included multi-country
rollouts, localization of key business
processes, and a centralized team
that ensured consistency and
quality across the region.

The Outcome

The implementation optimized and
integrated business processes,
significantly improving the
company’s global integration and
enabling unified, reliable reporting.
Production process management
became more efficient and
transparent, strengthening
operational control. As a strategic
outcome, our customer established the
Continental Competence Center
(CCC) to provide support across the
Southern Cone, Brazil, and the
Caribbean, adopting the best
practices and procedures defined
during the project. This resulted in
substantial cost reductions and the
consolidation of a regional support
model.
